Piping Supervisor, Operations
Job Purpose
Oversees and manages the workload related to Piping for shipbuilding projects, providing effective supervision and guidance to workers, while enforcing procedures to support the project schedule and uphold quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for ensuring the quality of piping installations
• Monitor work progress, identify and rectify any deviations or defect and maintain accurate records of inspections and test result
• To monitor cost of associated with piping activities, ensuring work perform within budget
• Follow-up project schedule and reporting progress
• Responsible for the implementation of fabrication work processes, project procedures and instructions within assigned operations
• Provide solutions to subcontractor’s problems in order to achieve the successful execution of the project
Job Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or relevant fields
• High school and vocational school graduate with relevant experience are welcome.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the same position
• Knowledge of piping testing ang commissioning procedures is mandatory
• Understanding piping insulation and technique is in important for ensuring work process efficiency
• To ensure the design and installation meet requirements
• Demonstrates excellent integrity and communication skills
• Able to communicate in English
